It is a small animal practice located in San Antonio, Texas providing high quality, dedicated care for every patient. Our recently renovated hospital includes an expansive floor plan including 4 exam rooms, spacious treatment rooms, a large surgical suite, separate laundry/kennel area and more. The post holder will be responsible for the planning and provision of high quality, evidence based psychological services across the business to people with complex mental health needs, which includes assessment, diagnosis, devising, monitoring and reviewing treatment programmes. Other duties include facilitating therapy/counselling sessions and group intervention. Clinical supervision is provided on a weekly basis and upskilling in clinical competencies such as neuropsychological, personality and dual diagnostic assessment. Budget and time for continuous professional development relevant to the service are also available.

This role will include the following on a day-to-day basis:

• Live our Mission, Vision and Values.

• Provide a range of psychological services as required including assessment, review, programme implementation, diagnostics.

• Promote and deliver services within the Company ethos and philosophy.

• Work as a member of the multi-disciplinary team providing an integrated and coordinated service to our service users and contribute to the development of person-centred plans.

• Provide advice/support programmes and training for staff, parents and families.

• With the Team, maintain statistical records and input to service reports and other relevant reports as required.

• Participate actively in general development of the service.

• Ensure that professional standards are maintained.

• Monitor and keep up-to-date with developments in Psychology and early intervention, including attending. training courses and participating in research and development.

• Maintain quality standards within the service and participate in quality development.

• Comply with policies and procedures as advised.

• Continuous professional development is supported through allocation of time to attend relevant training and budget allocation.

Qualification:

• Possess a recognised professional post-graduate qualification in clinical psychology; Clinical graduates in the process of completing their post-graduate qualification in clinical or counselling psychologist are welcome to apply;

If qualified outside the Republic of Ireland, have their qualification validated by the Department of Health or may be working towards meeting compensatory criteria set up by the Department. Validation letter needs to be included with this application and Nua can support with the provision of adequate supervision to meet any potential compensatory measures. All candidates must meet the registration requirements of the Psychological Society of Ireland.

Experience:

• 3 years post qualification experience in working in a service for individuals with Autism, Intellectual Disabilities and/or Mental Health difficulties is desirable.

Knowledge:

Sr. Structural Engineer IV

• Evolving knowledge of basic engineering principles, material properties, and a familiarity with construction, installation, and maintenance procedures.

Sr. Structural Engineer III

• Plans and conducts work requiring judgment in the evaluation, selection and substantial adaptation and modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.

• Preparation of studies, reports, plans, cost estimates, specifications for bidding and construction, review shop drawing.

• Receives technical guidance on unusual or complex problems and supervisory approval on proposed plans for projects.

Sr. Structural Engineer II

• Answers questions and gives daily guidance to project team and/or other departmental staff. Checks all technical work for accuracy. Recognizes problems quickly and seeks advice.

• May participate in preparing proposals and in presentations to clients.

• Performs structural design for concrete, masonry, wood and steel structures. Devises new approaches to problems encountered.

Structural Engineer I

• Perform complex design calculations and custom detailing.

• Oversee, guide, mentor, and provide technical leadership to junior staff.

• May participate in preparing proposals and in presentations to clients.

Minimum Qualifications Per Job Level

• Sr. Structural Engineer IV – Bachelor’s Degree/Continuing Education; PE license; ten (10) years experience.

• Sr. Structural Engineer III - Bachelor’s Degree/Continuing Education; PE license; twelve (12) years experience.

• Sr. Structural Engineer II - Bachelor’s Degree/Continuing Education; PE license; fourteen (14) years experience.

• Sr. Structural Engineer I - Bachelor’s Degree/Continuing Education; PE license; fifteen (15) years experience.
